The FAQ

Do you provide both photo & cinema at the same event?

For most live events, Dupon Photography can only provide either photography or cinematography services. Not both at the same event. However, some events (such as conferences), it is possible to provide a hybrid service.

If you have questions about photo/video services, feel free to contact via email at info@duponphotography.com.

Do you allow any feedback or additional edits?

Once Dupon Photography has produced a Final Cut of your film, you are allowed to make any edit requests. One round of edit requests are usually free of charge (depending on your contract). However, additional rounds of editing will require an extra post-production fee.

What does your cinema packages include?

What cinema packages include depends on what you need. Packages can be put together À La Carte.

For weddings, you can expect to receive a fully edited short film of your special day. This film can vary in duration depending on what you want. Typical lengths are anywhere from 7 to 15 minutes long.

For commercial, corporate, and film production, please contact Gabriel Dupon at gabriel@duponphotography.com to setup a call to talk about your project.

What is your cinematography approach?

My approach is just plain professional. Nothing fancy just professionalism with a creative edge.

For weddings, the goal is to capture beautiful moments without interrupting your special day. Dupon Photography finds it embarrassing how many videographers get in the way and become super intrusive on your wedding day. Remember the moments on your special day, not the videographer.

For commercial productions, the goal is to capture the highest quality content without compromise. This is done by having high quality equipment, an imagination, and lots of teamwork.

When will I receive the videos?

Usually, the videos are delivered no later than four weeks after your event or production concludes (depending on your contract). During this time, your film is being created, which is a very time-consuming process.

If a motion album or USB drive comes with your package, it will arrive soon after you receive your film. Please contact Dupon Photography if you have any questions.

Can you provide drone coverage?

Yes, Dupon Photography can provide drone coverage when possible! Some locations do not allow drones (such as near airports or national parks), but other than that, drones can fly for you.

Dupon Photography is legally allowed to fly drones commercially in the USA. Gabriel Dupon and all our drone pilots have UAG certificates to fly within part 107 of the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) rules.

What is your filmmaking style?

My style of filmmaking is to capture the story of people through moments that represent life. The style is similar to that of my photography: authentic & timeless.

I love capturing impactful moments with a very cinematic approach.

What music can we choose?

Since most music is copyrighted, Dupon Photography has suppliers to source music legally for you. Dupon Photography can send them to you, so you can pick a few songs to go along with your videos. If this sounds like a lot to do, Dupon Photography can find a beautiful music track for you.

Tip: it is recommend to find a music track that doesn't have any lyrics for a more cinematic & impactful film.

Video versus cinema?

Videography is about simply using a device to capture something. There is no creativity involved.

Cinematography is the art and science of putting together a motion picture. There is a lot of creativity involved and the finished product is the same quality as a movie. At Dupon Photography, "cinematic" is the standard.
